about the site
The idea for this site has been fermenting for more than a year. It took being laid off, as part of a reduction in workforce, to fully recognize how much I miss the energy and dynamics, the perpetual motion of being “on the road”, and the stabilizing effect of re-connecting with colleagues under the fluorescent sun of a local office environment. Put simply, the content you will find on this site centers around stories, interviews, and observations about living in that space where business and leisure meet. On the road and at home. Embracing challenges. Seizing opportunities. Creating experiences.
about the coordinator
Greetings. My name is Ron Day. I am a business professional and poet with 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience and a handful of published work. Like many of my peers in the enterprise software space, I have spent much of my professional life on the road selling, demonstrating, and implementing complex software solutions. As a result I have been fortunate enough to travel throughout North America, Europe and Asia – calling Southern California and Munich, Germany home. As you might expect, these experiences and observations make their way into my writing while many of the people I’ve met remain close contacts and friends.
